BOTANY INTERNATIONAL FOODS PTY LTD is a privately owned independent wholesaler, distributing a specialised range of local and imported packaged food lines to retailers and food service operators in New South Wales [NSW] and the Australian Capital Territory [ACT] and to other independent wholesalers in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania since 1987.
Botany services over 1800 customers out of its Sydney warehouse in Castle Hill, Sydney.
Retail and Food Service customers include the Major National Chains i.e. Woolworths, Coles, Bi-Lo, Franklins, David Jones, and Campbells in NSW where they have achieved a wide number of listings, as well as the major independent supermarkets and general route trade including various speciality type businesses including Gourmet Stores, Delicatessens, Confectionery Stores, Health Food Stores, Convenience Stores, Fruit and Veg Markets, etc spread across Metropolitan and country areas in NSW and ACT.
Botany also targets the small corner store through Campbells Cash and Carry and other smaller local and regional NSW wholesalers, along the Eastern seaboard. Interstate distribution [outside NSW which has by far the greatest market share at 35%] is achieved by affiliates in the other states with similar food operations to Botany. They are all privately owned companies where the directors are involved in the day to day activities of the business.
Merchandisers assist in the merchandising and display of their brands in major supermarkets.
Ranges include Confectionery - Bulk and Gourmet, Biscuits - Local and Exclusive Imports, Refrigerated and Freezer - Dairy and Delicatessen lines, Soft-drinks, Speciality Grocery including jams, jellies, fruit preserves, spreads, condiments, soups, sauces, olives and other anti-pasto lines, Food Service Bulk and Retail, and Speciality Food Lines including speciality dietary ranges including Organic products and ranges of Soy based products.
